Watercolour
Beginners and Improvers are welcome.
Traditional and experimental watercolour techniques will be explored. By working from direct observation, photographic references, sketches, and imagination. You will encounter a variety of stimulating subject as landscape, still life, natural forms, etc. Reference will also be made to the work of other artists as appropriate.
By the end of the course you should be able to work from various subject matters, Make drawings as studies for paintings and to explore and establish compositions, Mix colours using basic colour theory, Use a range of water based painting techniques, e.g. washes, glazes, dry brush, wet in wet, etc...
